Tree nursery & restoration

Growing seedlings for restoration, livelihoods and long-term resilience.

MWONET’s constitution makes tree seedling nurseries a core environmental objective, giving restoration a central place in the organization’s work.

CONSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVE

Tree nurseries are not a side activity—they are part of MWONET’s foundation.

The organization is mandated to establish and manage tree seedling nursery beds for afforestation and environmental sustainability.

That creates room for restoration, youth participation, community learning and sustainable income opportunities around seedling production and distribution.
